Inventory is down and months’ supply is hovering around 1month, which means extremely tight market conditions. This time last year before the pandemic hit, we had close to a stable market, while January 2019 was a sellers market. According to Lawrence Yun – Cheif Economist at National Association of REALTORS®, “prices are rising and the lack of inventory could potentially hold back first-time buyers in 2021”.
